New Vendor Spotlight

I can't believe we've only been open a couple of months and already are curating new vendors to make clothe+arrow stand out in North County SD!

I'm completely blown away about the close knit vibes and support SouthO has showered us with. We truly live a community over competition mindset and this community is doing it better than any other I've worked in!

When we opened in November 2016, I had only a handful of exclusive vendors mostly curated from Texas. The thought behind this was, I was starting out as an online+ pop-up boutique and had a five year plan to be a brick and mortar, not knowing where my Military Husband and I would land someday....

I handpicked brands that appealed to our bohemian gypset lifestyle. I also wanted to be very mindful and careful NOT to carry brands from the boutiques I used to work at and any closer boutiques in the area. This was and still is VERY important to me when bringing in a vendor. So selecting brands that no one else west of Texas was carrying was a no brainer and the brands are absolutely stunning and fall in line with the price point, look and vibe I want to sling.  It's been a funny conversation since opening, among my other shop partners and customers, as they actually thought I was from Texas with all the Southwest branding!  Truth is, I'm a Cali girl through and through.

Dani, who shares the space with me as All Ye Citizens, curates handmade goods mostly from the local area and I can see that our customers truly appreciate supporting local small businesses. And after moving into our collective space it was evident that it was time for clothe+arrow to capitalize on this consumer desire to support local as well.

First off, it is not easy to find a brand that isn't already in North County SD that I absolutely would love to carry! We wanted to be on this block because we admire and support all the other shops here already! So curating with the community over competition mindset gets even more difficult. But, this is my hearts desire to bring my customer something exclusive, fresh and makes a statement. It also has to reflect how I've branded clothe+arrow. A lil Southwest with a lot of boho. Edgy, with a retro vibe. A feeling of wander, a quality product that speaks to you emotionally, but won't break the bank. Nothing is considered a throw away piece. Everything I offer is made well and under $100. Again, not an easy task when hunting down a new product....

I am so excited to have found these new California Vendors! These brands exude women empowerment, community over competition and are the most inspiring girl bosses around! I can't tell you how much it means to me to be the first to carry in North County and share them with all of YOU!

DazeyLa is probably the tee shirt you will grab first when the world goes to shit or there's a zombie outbreak! I'm not kidding! They are soft and a lil worn looking to begin with. And each design is hand drawn by Dani Nagel. She has the coolest retro yet feminine style that is now exploding in our store. I literally can't keep up with the demand and nor can she.

Jay Nicole Jewelry is made by mega babe Jamie Kidd. If you don't know who I'm talking about, you probably live under a rock and don't know fashion! She's literally everywhere doing everything with everyone who's someone in fashion, plus she's the sweetest most supportive soul. Her jewelry is on trend and at an amazing price point!

Sundia Swimwear. I almost don't want to share this gem with you! Patti has got an eye for the perfect kini! We met on Instagram when we were both starting our businesses back in August. She made me the cutest Cactus Bikini to sell in my online shop and I was hooked! And so were all of you! She and I now collab on print ideas that keep up with my branding so I can always have the perfect suit for you! And on Saturday, March 18th we're debuting some new exclusive suits at our Resort 2017 Luau. So SAVE THE DATE!  We can't wait!

I'm With The Band Headbands is finally rocking in our shop! No one makes Heandbands and Turbans better than Kailee! She's a superstar and the most supportive radest babe out there. I've never had a vendor as excited to be in our space as I am with having them in our space! Each piece is made from recycled materials and organic fabrics. They are supa soft and comfortable and just make you look like a rockstar when wearing them! The best part.... I can cover my greys or greasy hair when in a jam. Which is like everyday now that I'm hustling running a business.

Suspend it. Have you guys seen all the macrame in our collective space?! It's like my favorite thing in the shop right now! It's so cool to have over 5 vendors to choose from without the feeling of sameness or competition. Well, suspend it is a clever slice of geode that covers the nail head to hang your lovelies with! Sarah is going to be like that guy who invented the tiny umbrellas for our drinks! I mean come on! How awesome does it look on our walls! Plus she's local, chill AF and makes a lot of other cool things with geodes such as magnets and key chain charms.

And Lovestrength is our newest! And just in time for Festival Season! These hand made leather belts are the best of the best among the boho loving gypsies that wear them. I'm amazed of the craftsmanship that go into these beauties! They will seriously last a life time and at a price you can afford. They remind me of the belts my dad wore back in the 70's that I stole from his closet in the 90's! I can't wait to get them styled and shot in our next photo shoot! Lovestrength is a family mother/ daughter local business and we couldn't be happier to have them!

We love bringing you all the new new babes! And are always on the lookout for more exclusive brands that inspire us and will bring you years of happy memories wearing them. Please come by and check them out yourselves if you haven't already! Mention this blog post and receive a 20% discount towards a purchase of any of the above mentioned brands!
